The flower arrangement for the New Year's Concert was also a gift from the Italian city of Sanremo in 2013, as it had been since 1980 .

ballet

Hof Castle

The ballet interludes were shot in Schloss Hof because the 350th birthday of its former owner, Prinz Eugen, took place that year. For the first time the choreography of the ballet interludes was developed by the British Ashley Page , the director of the Scottish Ballet . The costumes were designed for the sixth time by Johan Engels .

The intermission film “ Honeymoon ” was shot under the direction of director Patrick Pleisnitzer and accompanies “a young couple on their honeymoon through Lower Austria ”. It allows the audience to participate in the daily “elaborate photo shoot for the wedding album”.
