The Piz Borel is a 2952 meter high mountain in the Lepontine Alps. The Borel is located in the canton of Graubünden a little north of the border with Ticino and the main Alpine ridge .
Location and surroundings
Piz Alv and Piz Ravetsch are also on the same ridge as the Borel . There are two smaller lakes on the southern flank. The east flank drops into Val Curnera , on the north flank lies the Maighels glacier .
