The Piz Gannaretsch is 3039.6 m above sea level. M. meter high mountain peak in the Adula Alps in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland . On older maps it bears the name Piz Ganneretsch .
It lies on a north-south running mountain range, which also forms the municipal boundary between Medel and Tujetsch . However, the summit itself is around 80 meters within the municipality of Medel. To the west lies the Val Nalps , to the east the Val Medel . On the ridge to the north is Piz Gierm ( 2940 m ), to the south-west of Piz Vatgira ( 2982 m ). The Gannaretsch Glacier (Glatscher da Gannaretsch) extends on the northwest flank.
The first ascent took place in 1895 by Ernst Amberg and Anton Züblin.
