Piz Muraun

The Piz Muraun ( 2896  m above sea level ) is a regularly shaped peak in the Adula Alps in the canton of Graubünden . It stands between the Val Sumvitg in the east and the Val Plattas in the west, a side valley of the Val Medel . The municipal boundary to Sumvitg and Medel (Lucmagn) runs over the summit .

On some maps there is a trail that leads from the southern saddle, the Fuorcla da Vallesa, which leads to Piz Cazirauns , to the summit of Piz Muraun.
