First ascent 1801 or 1802 by Placidus a Spescha

The Piz Terri ( 3149  m above sea level ) is a pyramid-shaped mountain in the Adula Alps on the border of the cantons of Graubünden and Ticino , between the Lugnez in the northeast and the Valle di Blenio in the southwest. The name is said to have risen from a dire alpine meadow in Lugnez.

meaning

Due to its location directly on the Greina plateau and the good development of the Camona da Terri and Capanna Motterascio , the Piz Terri is a mountain that is climbed quite often and offers a beautiful view of the Greina and the surrounding mountain ranges.

First ascent

In 1801 or 1802 it was climbed for the first time by Pater Placidus a Spescha from the Disentis Monastery (via the west ridge, today's normal route) .
