The Piz Trovat is 3145 m above sea level. M. high mountain belonging to the Bernina group in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland .

Location and surroundings

The mountain lies south of the Val Bernina . The closest place is Pontresina . Neighboring peaks are the Sass Queder (3065 m) in the north and the Munt Pers (3206 m) in the northwest . It is in close proximity to the Pers glacier .

Via ferrata

The summit can also be reached via a via ferrata with two variants of different difficulties (C and E). The ascent from the mountain station of the Diavolezza cable car (2973 m) takes around 20 to 30 minutes. It is the first via ferrata in the Engadine .
