Plachtijiwka ( Ukrainian Плахтіївка ; Russian Плахтиевка Plachtijewka , Romanian Plahteevca ) is a village with about 5200 inhabitants (2004) in the south of the Ukrainian Odessa Oblast .
The in 1830 Bessarabian village was founded and has an area of 7.46 is the only resort of the same name, 127.592 km² District Municipality in Sarata Raion .
The village is located at 47 m altitude on the banks of the Kuruds ( Курудер ), a 13 km long tributary of the Sarata (tributary to Lake Sassyk ), and near the territorial road T-16-43 11 km northeast of the district center of Sarata and about 125 km southwest of the oblast center Odessa .
