Plaika is a place and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Bergland , Lower Austria .

The village of Plaika is located on the L96 state road, which branches off from Wiener Straße (B1) just outside Plaika . Plaika still consists of Oberegging and Unteregging , the hamlets of Berging, Krottenthal, Polln and Thalling and the Rotten Edichenthal and Hagenau.

In the Franziszeischen cadastre from 1822 the village is recorded with some farms.
