Plan dance
The Plantanz is a traditional folk dance event on special occasions such as the parish fair , post- church fair (one week after the parish fair ) and harvest festival in Franconia .

The plant dance consists alternately of dance performances by the plan couples in historical costume and the dancing of the festival visitors on the plan , the central village square. Figures of the waltz , Rhinelander and Scottish are danced according to local tradition.
Distribution area
Plant dance events take place regularly in the following towns, most of which are in the Schweinfurt area: Eyershausen , Frauenaurach , Gochsheim , Rannungen (every ten years), Röthlein , Schonungen , Schwebheim , Sennfeld , Oberessfeld (every five years) and Arnshausen .
