Schwebheim ( East Franconian Schwaam ) is a municipality in the Lower Franconian district of Schweinfurt and is located about six kilometers south of Schweinfurt .
Schwebheim is also known as the “pharmacist's garden in Franconia ”. This nickname is derived from the cultivation of herbs. Several local herb companies have been processing up to 40 types of plants into medicinal products and spices , some since the century before last . The Kneipp plants have also been supplied with herbs from Schwebheim for a long time. Schwebheim is considered an ecovillage and is a residential suburb of Schweinfurt, which is also home to logistics and boat trading. In addition, vehicle construction , largely for the Cologne Rose Monday Parade , which is why insiders refer to it as the Schwebheim Rose Monday Parade .

Efforts to adopt a municipal coat of arms of their own were made in 1983, but ultimately failed due to the controversy surrounding the adoption of the beaver from the Bibra family coat of arms into the municipal coat of arms .
Since the municipality of Schwebheim does not have its own coat of arms, the raven (in Franconian: "Krack") has emerged as a symbolic figure. Only three other of the 2056 municipalities in Bavaria ( Elchingen , Prebitz and Stadlern ) do not have their own coat of arms (as of July 2020).

Sponsorships
In 1985 the sponsorship for the expelled Sudeten Germans from the community of Miltigau in the Marienbad district was taken over.
