The Plattberg (also Blattberg ) is a mountain in the southern chain of the Ammergau Alps , its highest point is also called Hochschrutte and reaches a height of 2247  m above sea level. A. The Plattberg is north of Lähn . It can be climbed from Lähn (train station on the Ausserfernbahn ) or, more difficult and pathless, from the Plansee via Pitzental and Wiesjoch . The ascent of the mountain can be undertaken as part of a tightrope walk from or to Daniel . The secondary summit, the 2196 meter high Große Pfuitjöchl, is also popular with skis or snowshoes in winter.
