The Mittlere Granatenspitze ( Polish Pośredni Granat ) is a mountain in the Polish High Tatras with a height of 2234 m npm. The high trail Orla Perć leads over its summit .
Location and surroundings
Below the summit are two valleys, the Dolina Buczynowa in the east and the Dolina Czarna Gąsienicowa in the west.
From the summit of the Southern Granatenspitze , the Middle Granatenspitze is separated by the Middle Sieczka Saddle and from the Northern Granatenspitze by the Front Sieczka Saddle . There have been numerous fatal falls at the summit in the past. The reason was often that the hikers who got lost near the summit had left the Höhensteig.
