The Südliche Granatenspitze ( Polish Zadni Granat ) is a mountain in the Polish High Tatras with a height of 2240 m npm in the Granaty massif . The Orla Perć high trail leads over its summit .
Location and surroundings
Below the summit are two valleys, the Dolina Buczynowa in the east and the Dolina Czarna Gąsienicowa in the west.
The southern grenade tip is separated from the summit of the Middle Granatenspitze by the Middle Sieczka Notch ( Pośrednia Sieczkowa Przełączka ) and from the Middle Sieczka Saddle ( Czarne Ściany ) by the Rear Sieczka Notch ( Zadnia Sieczkowa Przełączka ).
There is an iron summit cross on the summit.

Hikers who dare to take the Orla Perć high-altitude trail have to go over the summit. There is also a hiking trail from the Polish Frozen Lake ( Zmarzły Staw Gąsienicowy ) to the top.
Routes to the summit
A high path and a hiking trail lead to the summit:
- ▬ The red marked high trail Orla Perć from the Riegelscharte ( Zawrat )mountain passover the summit to the Krzyżne mountain pass. The mountain huts Schronisko PTTK Murowaniec and Schronisko PTTK w Dolinie Pięciu Stawów Polskich are suitable as a starting point for climbing the high trail.
- ▬ A green marked hiking trail Orla Perć from the Polish Frozen Lake ( Zmarzły Staw Gąsienicowy ) in the Dolina Czarna Gąsienicowa valley. The Schronisko PTTK Murowaniec mountain huts are a suitable starting point for climbing the hiking trail.
