The hanging valley Dolina Buczynowa, also known as Dolinka Buczynowa, was formed by glaciers in the Ice Age and is located west of the Dolina Roztoki mountain valley, which in turn is a side valley of the Dolina Białki valley , in the Polish High Tatras in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship . It is located below the peaks of Buczynowe Turnie , Granaty , Czarne Ściany and Kozi Wierch and about 200 m above the Dolina Roztoki valley.
geography
The valley is less than a km long and is surrounded by mountains over 2,300 m high, in particular the Buczynowe Turnie massif . The Buczynowy Potok mountain stream rises on its slopes and falls in the Buczynowa Siklawa into the Dolina Roztoki valley.
etymology
The name is derived from the Buczynowy Potok mountain stream flowing here .
Flora and fauna
The valley lies above the tree line. It is a refuge for chamois and marmots.

▬ A yellow-marked hiking trail leads through the valley from the Dolina Pięciu Stawów Polskich valleyto the Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy mountain lakeover the Krzyżne mountain pass.
▬ Above the valley on the southern ridge of the Świnica there is Orla Perć , which can be reached from the valley via the Krzyżne mountain pass.
