The Pogórze Wiśnickie consists of foothills of the West Beskids in southern Poland in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship . Its highest peak is the Jaszczurówka with 538 m. The mountain is named after the town of Nowy Wiśnicz .

geography

The mountains border in the north with the Sandomir Basin and in the north-west with the Pogórze Wielickie , in the east with the Pogórze Rożnowskie , in the south with the Beskids . It lies between the Dunajec rivers in the east and Raba in the west.

structure

The 50 km long and 10 km wide mountains are divided into several ridges.

The towns in Pogórze Wiśnickie are Nowy Wiśnicz , Myślenice .
