action
Christina Nickson, a young girl, is resuscitated by lifeguard Jesse Parker after a thunderstorm in Point Pleasant . She quickly befriends the local doctor's daughter, Judy Kramer. As the series progresses, Christina tries to find out who she really is and why her mother disappeared shortly after she was born. She also falls in love with Jesse.
Over time it becomes clear that Christina's presence has an unusual effect on the people around her. The reason for this effect is how it turns out that she is the daughter of the devil. Because of this, she is often haunted by vision of death and destruction.
