Dina Meyer (born December 22, 1968 in Queens , New York City ) is an American actress .

life and career

She began an acting career after graduating from Long Island University Brooklyn Campus , where she earned a degree in business administration. She made her debut in 1993 in the television film School of Violence , then she appeared in the series Beverly Hills, 90210 from 1993 to 1994 in the role of Lucinda Nicholson .

Meyer experienced her breakthrough in 1995 with the futuristic thriller Networked - Johnny Mnemonic at the side of Keanu Reeves . Since then she has mainly acted in science fiction productions such as the films Starship Troopers (1997), Star Trek: Nemesis (2002) and the television series Birds of Prey (2002-2003). She had a leading role as Amber Hargrove from 2005 to 2006 in the short-lived series Point Pleasant . She also had guest appearances on series such as Friends (1997), Ally McBeal (1998) and Kate Fox & Die Liebe (2003). She was also seen in the 2004 horror thriller Saw and several sequels. Her work includes more than 90 productions. She currently lives in Los Angeles .
