Aubrey Dollar (born September 23, 1980 in Raleigh , Wake County , North Carolina ) is an American actress .
life and career
Aubrey Dollar made her first film appearance in 1993 in the horror flick Children of Wrath 2 - Deadly Harvest . It was followed sporadically other supporting roles, in parallel, she completed her schooling at Needham B. Broughton High School. In 1999 she played the recurring role of Marcy Bender at the beginning of the second season of the television series Dawson's Creek . In the fourth season of the series, Dollar can be seen again, but in a different role. In 2001, Dollar took on the role of Marina Nadine Cooper in the soap opera Springfield Story , which she played until 2004. For her portrayal she was nominated at the Soap Opera Digest Awards 2003 as "Outstanding Newcomer".
In 2005, Dollar starred as Judy Kramer in the mystery series Point Pleasant , but the series was discontinued after 13 episodes. This was followed by minor roles in the direct-to-video productions Save the Last Dance 2 and Hard Luck , before Dollar got another lead role: In the ABC crime series Women's Murder Club , she played reporter Cindy Thomas alongside Laura Harris , Angie Harmon and Paula Newsome . However, this series was also unsuccessful and was also discontinued after 13 episodes.
Aside from film and television, Dollar also plays theater and was seen in Lucy Thurber's Bottom of the World in 2010, and from August 2011 in Itamar Moses' Completeness .
Aubrey Dollar has a younger sister, Caroline Dollar (* 1983), who also works as an actress.
