Women's Murder Club is an American crime series broadcast by ABC based on the novel series of the same name by the author James Patterson . The main roles are Angie Harmon , Laura Harris , Paula Newsome and Aubrey Dollar seen as four friends who educate together murders.
In Germany, the station VOX has been broadcasting the series since June 4, 2014.

The series is about the four friends Lindsay Boxer, Jill Bernhardt, Claire Washburn and Cindy Thomas. Lindsay works in the police force , Jill is a prosecutor , Claire is a coroner and Cindy is a journalist . Together they try to solve the four murders. They benefit from Lindsay's ability to read crime scenes, Cindy's photographic memory , Claire's talent for finding the tiniest of clues and Jill's foresight. They also help each other in their private lives.
Production and broadcast
In September 2006, ABC commissioned a script for the series. In May 2007, the station ordered a series for the pilot episode . The series began broadcasting on October 12, 2007. On October 31, 2007, ABC ordered three more episodes of the series. Due to the writers' strike in 2007/2008 , however, only 13 of the 16 episodes ordered were ultimately produced. These three additional episodes were shown from April 29 through May 13, 2008. In May 2008, ABC discontinued production of the series after the first season.
The station VOX has been broadcasting the series every Wednesday evening since June 4, 2014.
