Polateli (kurd. Spenaq ) is a district town and a district in the southeastern Anatolian province of Kilis . Polateli is centrally located in this province and borders the Gaziantep Province in the north . Earlier place names were Güldüzü and Ispanak.

The district was established in 1995 with the establishment of the Kilis Province. It has the smallest area and the lowest population in this province. The district town ( Merkez ) is home to 22 percent of the district's population. It is the smallest of the four cities ( Belediye ) in Kilis Province. The district also consists of 16 villages ( Köy , plural Köyler ), of which Bağarası is the largest with 594 inhabitants. An average of 261 people live in each of the 16 villages.
