Elbeyli (formerly Alimantar , Kurdish : Eliyê Mentarê ) is a district town and a district in the southeastern Anatolian province of Kilis in Turkey . Elbeyli is located in the southeast of the province and borders Syria in the south. Elbeyli borders the Gaziantep Province in the north and east . Elbeyli is a plain without forests and without mountains and hills.

The Elbeyli district was established in 1995 when the Kilis province was founded . The village of Alimantar, which was then renamed Elbeyli, was chosen as the main town. The district is sparsely populated and only has the district town ( Merkez ) as a municipality ( Belediye ). It houses 40 percent of the district's population. There are also 23 villages in the district ( Köy , plural Köyler ), of which the largest ( Alahan ) has 407 inhabitants. On average 170 people live in each village.
