occupation

Polizeihauptmeister Krause is a TV film series on ARD by director and author Bernd Böhlich about the village policeman , who is played by actor Horst Krause under his real name. It is an offshoot of the RBB Police Call 110 , in which Horst Krause's private area is illuminated when he is not on duty or after he has retired.

action

The focus of the stories is the private life of village police officer Horst Krause and his sisters Elsa and Meta, who run an inn in the fictional Brandenburg town of Schönhorst. After Meta met the taxi driver Rudi one day, the two married very quickly and Meta moved to Cologne with him. Both come to Schönhorst every now and then. Krause is friends with his neighbor Schlunzke, who dies surprisingly after falling off the ladder. Krause doesn't have a car and drives a motorcycle with a sidecar. Criminal cases don't play a role in the stories. It is primarily about human interaction and problem solving.

Reviews

The “Brandenburg village policeman on the move in the comedy class. Emancipated from his investigative 'police call' colleagues, the protagonist Horst Krause in Bernd Böhlich's little people stories falls into private life. In Schönhorst he is in charge - until "someone comes along" and Krause's regular life is disrupted. "

“It is [...] an extraordinary pleasure to see Horst Krause, Carmen-Maja Antoni and Angelika Böttiger as siblings, especially since the dialogues [...] are the best comedy. Especially Antoni, as sister Elsa, can tear his mouth open to their heart's content. ”“ The joint appearances of Andreas Schmidt as the notoriously unsuccessful neighbor Schlunzke are wonderful, because he and Krause are so great opposites. ”
