Sarah Victoria Schalow (born August 14, 1984 in Nauen ) is a German actress .

Life

Schalow was born in 1984 in Nauen in the Potsdam district of the GDR . She lived with her parents in Ketzin / Havel until she was five . Shortly before the fall of the Berlin Wall , in October 1989, the family was forced to give up their home and property, leave the GDR and move to the Federal Republic of Germany . In the meantime, she lived in the port of Hamburg for several weeks on a residential ship and then for several years in an allotment garden association in the Groß Borstel district . It was not until 1993 that a permanent home was found in Hamburg .

After graduating from the Heilwig-Gymnasium in Hamburg, Schalow decided to pursue her career aspiration, which had existed since elementary school, and to become an actress. She completed her acting training in 2010 at the Schule für Schauspiel Hamburg , with the British screenwriter and director Michael Bogdanov , acting coach Jens Roth and the Austrian actress Renate Bleibtreu among her trainers.

Career

Schalow had her first television appearance in 2000, in a short text role in the television series Stubbe - Von Fall zu Fall, broadcast by ZDF . In 2001 there was another brief appearance in the series Die Rettungsflieger .

During her apprenticeship, she took part in several plays on the studio stage of the Schule für Schauspiel Hamburg, including the performance of Invisible Bullets directed by Michael Bogdanov and in People's Destruction - my liver is pointless in the role of Bianca . This was followed by several months of exposure to the Konrad Koblenz , where they play in the search Impotent Man , an adaptation of the novel by the same name Gaby Hauptmann , in the role of Laura was seen.

Schalow achieved a high level of awareness among the German television audience when she embodied the role of the lively Nadine Brück in the previous evening's soap opera Freundinnen - Now even more . The series was produced by UFA Serial Drama and broadcast on RTL until the end of 2019 and can still be accessed via RTL's own video portal TVNOW .

Schalow will be seen in a guest role in the ARD series Die Kanzlei in 2020.
