The cushion is a 1910  m above sea level. A. high summit on the southwestern edge of the Hochschwab massif in Styria.

The first chairlift was built on the upholstery in 1948, and the current facility was built in 1984/1985, a single chairlift with a length of 1224 m. It was discontinued in April 2016. The valley station is 1237  m above sea level. A. near the Präbichl -Passhöhe, the mountain station at 1797  m above sea level. A.

The summit of the cushion is from the Präbichl pass height 1226  m above sea level. A. to be reached in about two hours. Numerous marked trails of varying difficulty lead to other mountains in the southern Hochschwab group, such as the Griesmauer with the TAC peak , the Leobner Mauer, the Trenchtling with the high tower and the Frauenmauerhöhle .

In the eastern flank of the cushion is 1582  m above sea level. A. the Leobner hut . Originally built as a miner's hut, it was expanded as an alpine base in the 1920s by the Leoben section of the Austrian Alpine Club. Due to structural defects, the Leobner Hütte was closed for a few years. In 2014, it was again open to hikers to stop off at weekends. The Leoben section of the Austrian Alpine Club continues to strive to maintain the Leobnerhütte as an excursion destination and as an alpine overnight stay.
