As Pomeranica literature, referring to the historic region of Pomerania called. Germany

The Greifswald University Library has the largest collection of historical Pomeranica in Germany. It comprises around 30,000 volumes, 18,000 of which are in a special collection. In 2010 the university library also received as a deposit the part of the library of the Society for Pomeranian History, Archeology and Art , which was relocated to Marburg after the Second World War .

The Greifswald State Archives contain archives from the former State Archives Stettin, which were recovered in Western Pomerania after the end of the Second World War .

Larger collections of Pomeranica are in the libraries of the Stralsund and Greifswald city ​​archives . 2012 it was announced that the city of Stralsund from the since 1945 in the city archives Stralsund custody considerable portion of holdings of the high school library of the existing 1560 to 1945 school has sold 5,926 volumes for recycling by a bookseller. The Książnica Pomorska (Pomeranian Library) goes back to the City Library of Szczecin and has around 4000 volumes of historical Pomeranica. About 3300 volumes are in the library of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń . Other holdings from the Szczecin City Library were distributed to various libraries across Poland between 1946 and 1949.

Scandinavia

The Reichsarchiv in Stockholm has the largest collection of Pomeranica in Scandinavia . The focus is on the history of Swedish Pomerania .
