Post bus
Post buses are in different countries of the post in public transport used buses after the invention of the internal combustion engine , the stagecoaches had replaced. Just like their non-motorized predecessors, they often transport both passengers and mail , typically they used to be equipped with rolling mailboxes . In sparsely populated areas in particular, the joint transport of passengers and mail is often the only way to operate a bus route profitably. - Czech Republic : ČSAD Autobusy České Budějovice as , a regional spin-off of the state-owned transport company ČSAD , which emerged from the Czechoslovak Postbus , has been a subsidiary of the Austrian ÖBB-Postbus GmbH since 2004 .

- The Ethiopian Postal Service operates Postbus connections in central Abyssinia between Addis Ababa , Adama and Asebe Teferi .
- The offer Poste Voyages of La Poste du Bénin offers joint transportation of passengers and mail in modern coaches.
- In Zambia , the Zambia Postal Services Corporation offers six Postbus connections.
- La Poste du Togo offers charter trips in Post's own coaches and since January 2010, under the name “Le Courrier”, regular connections on the routes Lomé - Cinkasse and Lomé - Kpalime .
- In Uganda , five postal bus routes are operated by Posta Uganda .
Asia
- The Cambodia Post VIP Van shuttle service operated by the Cambodian Post connects the capital Phnom Penh with the various parts of the country. EMS express shipments are also transported in the minibuses .
Oceania
- In the Whanganui National Park in the southwest of the North Island of New Zealand , the post bus (at least until 2016) was the only regular means of transport from Wanganui to Pipiriki .
