Potijiwka ( Ukrainian Потіївка ; Russian Потиевка Potijewka , Polish Potyjówka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Zhytomyr with about 2100 inhabitants (2001).
The village is situated at an altitude of 185 m on the banks of Trostjanyzja ( Тростяниця ), a 26-km long right tributary of Irsha , 26 km northwest of the Rajonzentrum Radomishl and 53 km northeast of the Oblastzentrum Zhytomyr . The T-06-07 territorial road runs through the village .
The village was founded in 1603 and first mentioned in writing in a document dated September 7, 1614 (another source mentions 1651 as the first year of mention).
