Ruppertszell is a parish village and part of the community Schiltberg in the district of Aichach-Friedberg , which belongs to the administrative district of Swabia in Bavaria .
For district includes the Kirchdorf Metz Ried , the village wonders village , the hamlet Kemnat and the wastelands francs cell , Kühnhausen , Pranst and Thalhof .

geography

Ruppertszell and its districts are located in the Danube-Isar hill country and thus in the lower Bavarian hill country, which belongs to the Alpine foothills , one of the main natural areas of Germany .

Ruppertszell is about two kilometers east of Schiltberg, Wundersdorf is directly to the east, bordering Ruppertszell, Metzenried is about one kilometer south and Kemnat is about one kilometer northeast of Ruppertszell. The Thalhof is located 200 meters west of Kemnat, Pranst approx. 800 meters southwest of Ruppertszell, Frankenzell approx. 500 meters northeast and Kühnhausen approx. 500 meters west of Metzenried.

Just west of Ruppert cell arises from the wood country Bach , then flows to the northwest and flows between Schiltberg and Weilach as right inflow into the Weilach .

history

The Catholic parish of Sankt Michael in Ruppertszell belongs to the deanery Aichach-Friedberg in the diocese of Augsburg. The parish also includes the Sankt Stephan branch in Metzenried and the villages of Birglbach , Frankenzell, Kemnat, Kühnhausen, Pranst, Thalhof and Wundersdorf.

Until July 1, 1971, Ruppertszell and its districts belonged as an independent municipality to the Upper Bavarian district of Aichach and was then incorporated into the municipality of Schiltberg as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
