Geography and geology

On the edge of the farmland area around Schkölen, the hamlet of Pratschütz is located in somewhat hilly terrain, not far from the 1372 state road from Naumburg to Eisenberg . The area around the hamlet and the Wethau valley is characterized by the extraction of sand and gravel.
