Precious Uzoaru Dede (born January 18, 1980 in Aba ) is a former Nigerian soccer player and current trainer .

Career

society

Precious Dede began her career with the Delta Queens from Asaba and signed a 1-year contract with Arna-Bjørnar on March 30, 2009 after a successful trial training session in Norway . However, Dede returned to Nigeria in the spring of 2010 and joined Delta Queens FC. At the beginning of 2011 she moved to the Rivers Angels. In spring 2012 she left the Rivers Angels and moved to league rivals Bayelsa Queens. In 2014 she moved to the Ibom Queens, where she ended her active career in March 2016.

International

The goalkeeper was the captain of the Nigerian national soccer team for several years and took part in the 2003 World Cups (without action), 2007 , 2011 and 2015 as well as the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games . In spring 2016, she ended her national team career for the Super Falcons after 99 international matches.

Coaching career

On May 5th, 2017, around a year after her retirement, she started as a goalkeeping coach at the National Institute for Sports in Surulere , Lagos .

Private

In addition to her active career, the qualified theater scientist Dede acts in Lagos , in the so-called Nollywood .
