Prize of the German Society for Hygiene and Microbiology
The German Society for Hygiene and Microbiology has been awarding its main prize every year since 1980. The award winner should be an active scientist with excellent and usually long-term research in the field of hygiene and microbiology . Current and promising research areas should be taken into account. The prize is endowed with 5000 euros (as of 2019).
