Prince Christian Buaben Abankwah (born April 23, 1988 in Akosombo ) is a Ghanaian football player who plays for FC Falkirk in Scotland.
Career
society
Prince Buaben was born in Akosombo, Ghana in the Asuogyaman region in 1988 . When he was nine years old he came to Europe in the Netherlands with his family . He started his football career at AVV Zeeburgia in Amsterdam . From 2004 Buaben played three years in the youth team of Ajax Amsterdam . At the age of 19 he was signed by the Scottish club Dundee United , where he was previously able to convince in trial training. With United he reached the final in the Scottish League Cup in the first year of membership, which was lost to the Glasgow Rangers . Two years later he won with Dundee the final in the Cup against Ross County . At the end of the 2010/11 season , the now 23-year-old boy moved to Watford FC in England for free. For the second division he played in the first season 2011/12 under Sean Dyche in 30 games. After Gianfranco Zola took over as coach, Buaben only played once in the entire 2012/13 season . The expiring contract was not extended, so Buaben was without a club. In October 2013 he found a new club with the English third division club Carlisle United . By January 2014, he played for the later relegated team in 12 games and scored once before he was awarded to the Scottish first division club Partick Thistle by the end of the season . In July 2014 he moved to Heart of Midlothian from Carlisle in Edinburgh and signed for one year. The contract that expired at the end of the season was extended to 2018 in December. With Hearts he could in 2015 to direct resurgence in the Premiership reach. After three seasons in the Premiership, the expiring contract was not extended. He then went to FC Falkirk .
National team
Prince Buaben was appointed to the Ghanaian national team for the first time in March 2008 , but did not appear in the friendly against Mexico . His only international appearance was two months later in a friendly against Australia in Sydney .
