The Prince Regent Place is a place in the district of Bogenhausen in Munich . It is named after the Bavarian Prince Regent Luitpold .
The square is characterized by the Prinzregententheater , houses from the Wilhelminian era and a fountain. The Richard Wagner monument , designed by Heinrich Waderé, is located in a small green area . Adolf Hitler's private apartment was at Prinzregentenplatz 16 , now a police station .

The square is accessed from the west and east through Prinzregentenstrasse . To the north and south, six smaller streets meet on Prinzregentenplatz.
Subway station
The underground station of the same name on the U4 line has been in existence since October 1988 . It was designed by Alexander von Branca .
