The Prinzregentenplatz U-Bahn station is a station on the Munich U-Bahn . It opened on October 27, 1988.
The train station is in the Bogenhausen district . It is named after Prince Regent Luitpold of Bavaria . The back rail walls, like the pillars, are made of light-colored tiles interrupted by black stripes. The ceiling was clad with aluminum slats into which the light strips are embedded. The floor is covered with an Isar pebble motif. In the middle, escalators and fixed stairs lead to a barrier floor and from there to Prinzregentenplatz. At the western end a lift takes you to the surface.
