The list of Munich underground stations is a listing of all existing, currently under construction and officially planned stations of the Munich underground system. The network comprises eight lines with 100 stations and a total route length of 100.8 kilometers. The average station distance is thus around 1018 meters.

The rapid transit network, which opened in 1971, is divided into three main routes, each of which is served by two lines on their central sections. With the exception of Pasing-Obermenzing , Aubing-Lochhausen-Langwied and Allach-Untermenzing, all of Munich's 25 districts are connected to the network, plus the city of Garching near Munich, north of Munich . There are plans to expand to Pasing and the community of Planegg south of Munich.

The following table provides a summary of the most important line data. The opening point indicates the date the line was set up, not the opening of the oldest serviced station.

Legend

The list is structured as follows:

• Station (abbreviation) & location : Name of the underground station, the internal abbreviation of the Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft as operator and a link to the location map; Platforms on different levels each have their own abbreviations
• Line : subway line that serves the station; if several lines stop on one platform level, they are grouped together, otherwise separated by level
• Identification color : The identification color of the respective station. Almost all stations have a colored strip of lines on the walls to increase their recognition value . Depending on the trunk line, these are colored blue (trunk line 1), red (2) or yellow (3). Exceptions are newer and rebuilt stations, the first stations of the U3, where the lines are orange, and the south branch of the U5, which has red lines.
• Opening : first opening of the station for public transport
• District : District in which the station is located. Exceptions are the city of Garching near Munich north of Munich and the municipality of Planegg in the south. These two places are therefore for better differentiation in italics indicated
• : Possibility to change to long-distance trains of the Deutsche Bahn .
• : Possibility to change to regional transport operated by Deutsche Bahn or private rail companies.
• : You can change to the Munich S-Bahn .
• : Possibility to change to the Munich tram .
• : You can change to the Munich bus or the regional bus .
• Notes : Notes on the underground station about adjacent workshops, renaming or design features
• Surroundings : Sights and well-known institutions in the vicinity
• Image : Image of the train station, usually the platform
