The Partnachplatz U-Bahn ( underground) station is part of the Munich U-Bahn . It was opened on April 15, 1983 and is one of the three train stations opened for the IGA . It is located in the Sendling-Westpark district under the square of the same name, which is named after the Partnach . The back track walls consist of green wall panels that are curved inwards at the top. The pillars in the middle are also clad with green tiles. The ceiling is covered with aluminum slats, under which the light strips sit. The floor is laid out with an Isar pebble motif, whereby the tiles are repeatedly interrupted by black vertical stripes. The only staircase is in the middle, where an escalator and a lift lead directly into a reception building, which is located on Partnachplatz near Albert-Roßhaupter-Straße.
