The Großhadern underground station is a station on the Munich underground .
The station was opened on May 22, 1993 and is named after the Großhadern district of the same name . As in the Großhadern U-Bahn station , the back track walls are made of tiles that show a mountain landscape. The pillars are covered with yellow tiles. A reflector construction made of aluminum slats is installed above the platform, which is lined with granite slabs, and is aligned with the lamps between the pillars. There is also a light band around the elevators on the mezzanine floor. Via escalators and fixed stairs at the south end you can reach a barrier floor and from there Sauerbruchstrasse. At the north end there are also escalators and fixed staircases as well as a lift to a barrier floor and on to the Sauerbruch / Würmtalstrasse intersection.
