The Michaelibad U-Bahn station is a station of the Munich U-Bahn and is located under Heinrich-Wieland-Straße near the indoor and outdoor swimming pool that gives it its name . Today the U5 line runs there and, since December 12, 2011, the U7 reinforcement line, which only runs during rush hour. Until the opening of the U2 to the fair , the station was a hub for the development of the east of Munich. The bus station was closed in 2005. The station looks similar to the other stations along the route with green wall panels and columns clad with green ceramic tiles. A special feature is the ramp leading to the east to the mezzanine floor. The ceiling is clad with aluminum slats. Formerly four, now two light strips run along the platform.
