The Neuperlach Zentrum subway station is a train station of the Munich subway . It was opened on October 18, 1980 and is located under Thomas-Dehler-Strasse at Hanns-Seidel-Platz, where a bus station was built. There is a possibility to change to the Munich bus network . The station, built with central platforms, is served by the U5. From 1999 to 2006 the station was the terminus of the U8 line, which went to Feldmoching or the Olympic Center. Since December 12, 2011, the underground station has been the end point of the U7 reinforcement line, which only runs during rush hour. The walls, like most subway stations of the 1980s, are clad with rounded beige-colored fiber cement panels. However, the pillars in the middle of the platform are made of silver-colored metal and not, as is usual, with tiles. The lamps are not arranged in the form of the usual light strips, but in squares over the entire platform area. It is one of the few underground stations in Munich that has moving walks . The mezzanine level is located like a gallery above the middle of the platform. There is a bakery and a kiosk on the mezzanine floor.
