The Moosacher St.-Martins-Platz subway station is a train station of the Munich subway at Moosacher St.-Martins-Platz .
Construction of the underground line from the Olympia shopping center to Moosach station began on October 7, 2004. The station was constructed using the diaphragm wall - top-cover construction , and the tunnel using shield driving . Originally the name Leipziger Straße was intended for the breakpoint, but the current name was chosen during the construction phase. The underground station was opened on December 11, 2010 with the extension of the U3 line from the Olympia shopping center to Moosach.
The artistic design of the walls comes from the Japanese artist Masayuki Akiyoshi. You can see a mosaic of 76,200 photos, all of which were taken in Moosach.
