Priska Nufer comes from Alpnach in the canton of Obwalden . From November 2007 she took part in FIS races , from December 2008 she played in the European Cup . After winning an FIS race for the first time in November 2008, at the beginning of 2009 she won two Swiss junior championships in the super-G and giant slalom disciplines . In the winter of 2009/10 Nufer achieved two podium places in the European Cup, with which she took fourth place in the Super-G ranking. Another European Cup podium followed in winter 2010/11. She achieved her best result at a Junior World Championship in 2011 in Crans-Montana with fourth place in the Super-G.
On December 29, 2011 Nufer made his debut in the World Cup in Lienz , but could not qualify for the second round of the giant slalom held there. In her third World Cup appearance, on January 29, 2012 in St. Moritz , she finished 30th in the Super Combined and thus won her first World Cup point. In the 2012/13 season she was used again in the European Cup. In a total of 13 starts in the 2013/14 World Cup winter, she finished three times in the points, five times in the following 2014/15 season and three times again in 2015/16. Nufer never got beyond 20th place. The 2016/17 season went better with two top 15 placements; Her best result was 8th place in the downhill from Altenmarkt-Zauchensee on January 15, 2017. She equalized this result on February 24, 2019 in the combination of Crans-Montana .
