The Probstberg is 297  m above sea level. NN high mountain in southern Rhineland-Palatinate , Germany . The mountain is located in the immediate vicinity of the German-French border in the upper Mundat Forest in Wasgau , which is formed by the southern part of the Palatinate Forest and the northern part of the Vosges . Its west and south flanks fall into the valley of the Wieslauter , its east flank into the valley of the Reisbach . The north side merges into the Bobenthaler Knopf with a saddle .

The Probstberg is completely covered with mixed forest. The summit can only be reached via paths.

On the mountain there is a ski jump from the War of Spanish Succession of 1704. This ski jump is marked with the knight stone number 2.
On the saddle of the Bobenthaler Knopf is the knight's stone number 3, the so-called spoon cross.
