The Prupt ( Russian Прупт, Пруб ( Prub )) is a left tributary of the Northern Keltma in the Komi Republic in northwestern Russia .

The Prupt rises in the Ust-Kulom Rajon on the northeastern edge of the northern Russian ridge . From there the river flows through a forest landscape in an easterly direction. Eventually he meets the Northern Keltma flowing north.

The Prupt has a length of 163 km. It drains an area of ​​3230 km². The mean discharge 61 km above the mouth is 20 m³ / s. The Prupt is fed to a large extent by the snowmelt . Floods occur regularly in May .
