history

The Brandenburg-Prussian general Wilhelm von Brandt (1644–1701) bought the Ehrenberg manor around 1700. Later he and finally his family were enfeoffed into joint hands . In 1743 it inherited George Friedrich von Rohwedel (1711–1765), but Minister Christian von Brandt (1684–1749) asserted his right of first refusal and so it was left to him in 1745. The last known owner of the family was stable master Christian Ludwig von Brandt (1728–1786).

In Ludwig Wilhelm Brüggemann's detailed description of the Royal Prussian Duchy of Western and Western Pomerania (1784), "Ehrenberg" is listed among the aristocratic estates of the Pyritz district . At that time there was a Vorwerk in Ehrenberg, ie the farm, a windmill, a brickworks, 16 farmers, 16 kossaten, a jug, a forge and a schoolmaster, a total of 73 households ("fire places"). There was also a church that was a branch church of the church in Mandelkow . The Klein Ehrenberg Vorwerk also belonged to the estate .

At a regional reorganization Ehrenberg was 1 January 1818 the Pomeranian of Pomerania in the Neumark district Soldin reclassified. Later the place name was apparently changed to "Groß Ehrenberg".

From the 19th century the manor district Groß Ehrenberg and the rural community Groß Ehrenberg coexisted. In 1900 there were 289 inhabitants in the Groß Ehrenberg manor district and 182 inhabitants in the rural community of Groß Ehrenberg. Later the manor district was incorporated into the rural community. Until 1945, Groß Ehrenberg formed a rural community in the Soldin district of the Prussian province of Brandenburg . In 1933 there were 500 inhabitants in the municipality, in 1939 524 inhabitants.

In 1945 Groß Ehrenberg, like all areas east of the Oder-Neisse Line , came to Poland. Groß Ehrenberg was given the Polish name "Przekolno".
