George Friedrich von Rohwedel

George Friedrich von Rohwedel (* December 10, 1711 , † March 28, 1765 ) was a Prussian district administrator in Neumark . From 1755 until his death he was in charge of the Dramburg district .

He came from the noble von Rohwedel family . His father Hans von Rohwedel (* 1673, † 1722), was the district administrator and heir on Cranzin . His mother Elisabeth Maria († 1751) was born from Wedel .

George Friedrich von Rohwedel served in the Prussian army , where he took his leave as a lieutenant. Around 1744 he acquired the Wusterwitz estate . After the death of the district administrator George Ernst von der Goltz , he was elected as the new district administrator of the Dramburg district in 1755 and appointed by the king. He held the office until his death in 1765; Otto Wedig von Bonin followed him in office .

He had to sell his Wusterwitz estate again for financial reasons. He was married to Anna Sabina († 1778), born von Küssow . The son Friedrich von Rohwedel became a landscape syndic of the Neumark, the son Hans von Rohwedel was temporarily district administrator in the Inowraclaw district in the network district .
