Przemysław Czajkowski (born October 26, 1988 in Wroclaw ) is a Polish athlete who specializes in discus throwing.

Athletic career

Przemysław Czajkowski gained his first international experience in 2005 when he took eleventh place at the youth world championships in Marrakech with a width of 49.87 m with the 5 kg discus. Two years later he retired at the Junior European Championships in Hengelo with 53.29 m in qualification. In 2009 he reached fifth place at the U23 European Championships in Kaunas with 57.58 m. The following year he took part in the European Championships in Barcelona , but retired there with 61.97 m in qualification. In 2011 he won the silver medal behind the Esten Märt Israel at the Summer Universiade in Shenzhen with a width of 63.62 m . In 2012 he again took part in the European Championships in Helsinki , but was eliminated there again with 62.22 m in qualification. He also qualified for the Olympic Games in London , where he did not reach the final with 61.08 m . In the following year he reached the final at the student world games in Kazan , but failed to make a valid attempt there. In 2015 he took part in the Military World Games in Mungyeon , South Korea , where he reached eleventh place with 54.74 m.

In 2011 Czajkowski became the Polish champion in the discus throw.
