The Alm Psia Trawka (German: Wolfsmilchalm) is an alpine pasture in the valley of the Seealmer Trockenbach ( Dolina Suchj Wody Gąsienicowej ) in the Polish High Tatras in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship . The Pańszczyca Valley begins not far from the mountain pasture . It is about 1185 meters above sea level.

history

The pasture was created in the 17th century and has been on the border of the Tatra National Park since 1954 . Most of the Alm is already overgrown.

etymology

The Polish name can be translated as dog grass . It is derived from the grass that grew on the mountain pasture.
