Pyrate
Pyrat is the name of a series of premium rums , which on the Caribbean - island Anguilla from the Planters- distillery produced and in Las Vegas -based The Patrón Spirits Company are sold.
history
The Planters distillery goes back to the English sailor CJ Planter, who settled in Anguilla towards the end of the 19th century and married the daughter of a sugar cane producer based there . Shortly after the death of his father-in-law, Planter began producing rum , which he was soon able to sell not only in the Caribbean , but also in Europe . Since a joint venture with The Patrón Spirits Company in 1996, the distillery's top products have been sold under the Pyrat label .
Products
- Planters Gold - Pyrat XO Reserve - a blend of around 15 year old rums . In many internet forums rated as one of the best rum ever.
- Pyrat Pistol - a rum very similar to the XO Reserve, but slightly “lighter” in taste .
- Pyrat Cask 23 - the ranch's top product, a blend of up to 40 year old rums .
- Pyrat orange "Saváge" rum liquer - a liqueur made from rum and orange juice concentrate .
- Pyrat trois "Ménage" - a slightly more flavored version of the "Saváge"
Others
The bottles in which the XO Reserve and the Cask 23 are filled are hand- blown unique pieces.
Each of these bottles one is trailer delivered, which the " mascot " of Planters- distillery shows HOTI, supposedly the Zen - patron saint for young children, soothsayers and bartender .
