Qingtian ( Chinese  青田 县 , Pinyin Qīngtián Xiàn ) is a district in the prefecture -level city of Lishui in the southern Chinese province of Zhejiang . At the end of 2017, the district had a registered population of 558,848 inhabitants and an area of ​​2,493 km².

Geographical location

Qingtian County is located in the southeast of Zhejiang Province, about 100 km west of Wenzhou City . It is bordered by Yongjia and Ouhai to the east, Rui'an and Wencheng to the south, Jingning and Lishui to the west, and Jinyun to the north . Qingtian is located on both sides of the Ou Jiang river and is surrounded by forested mountains. The climate is subtropical with an annual average temperature in the settlement areas of 18.3 ° C. Annual average temperatures of less than 14 ° C prevail above 800 meters. There are 279 frost-free days per year.
