The Quamecke is a 3.8 km long orographic left tributary of the Möhne in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany . The stream flows completely in the urban area of Warstein .

geography

The stream rises in the Arnsberg Forest about 2.2 km southeast of Allagen at an altitude of 356  m above sea level. NN . The Quamecke flows in predominantly northern directions, with the direction of the river changing several times between northwest and northeast. After a distance of about 2.6 km, the stream reaches the southern edge of the town of Sichtigvor and flows around the town as far as possible on the eastern edge. Shortly before the mouth, the Quamecke is channeled in sections. After 3.8 km the Quamecke joins at 237  m above sea level. NN in the Möhne . With a height difference of 119 meters, the mean bed gradient is 31.3 ‰. The 5.428 km² catchment area is drained to the North Sea via the Möhne, Ruhr and Rhine .
